Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of CartStora, a product of Easyliving. They are provided for public information and are not presented as lawyer-approved legal advice.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using CartStora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use CartStora.

2. Service description

CartStora is a product-media shopping experience for selected Shopify product pages. It lets merchants upload images and videos, assign media to products, customize galleries, and present shoppable media on the storefront. Checkout remains Shopify-native.

3. Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for your Shopify store, theme setup, product information, uploaded media, and compliance with applicable laws and Shopify’s terms. You must have the rights needed to upload and display media. You are responsible for adding the CartStora Gallery app block to the product template and for enabling galleries on selected products.

4. Shopify relationship

CartStora is an independent product built by Easyliving. It is not a Shopify-owned product. Shopify remains the platform for the merchant’s store, customer checkout, and paid CartStora subscriptions.

5. Accounts and access

Merchant access uses Shopify OAuth and session mechanisms. You must keep Shopify account access under your control and use CartStora only for shops you are authorized to manage.

6. Uploaded media and content rights

You retain rights in media you upload. You grant Easyliving a limited license to host, process, and display that media as needed to operate CartStora galleries for your shop. You represent that uploaded media does not infringe other people’s rights and is suitable for display on your storefront.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use CartStora to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; attempt to disrupt the service; or misuse plan limits, analytics, or storefront features. We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.

8. Third-party services

CartStora depends on Shopify and other infrastructure used to operate the app, including media storage through Cloudflare R2. Third-party terms and availability can affect CartStora. We are not responsible for third-party platforms we do not control.

9. Billing and subscriptions

CartStora paid subscriptions are processed through Shopify’s billing infrastructure. CartStora does not independently charge merchants outside the Shopify billing flow. CartStora does not promise refunds, credits, or prorations outside the applicable Shopify billing process.

Paid CartStora subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Subscription changes, cancellation timing, charges, prorations, credits, and any applicable refunds are handled through Shopify's billing system and applicable Shopify policies. CartStora does not independently promise refunds or credits outside that process.

Free has no Shopify subscription. Paid plans are Shopify subscriptions. There is no new paid-plan trial. Views on Free reset each UTC calendar month. Views on paid plans reset according to the Shopify billing period. Unused views do not roll over. Plan changes alone do not reset usage.

10. Cancellation

Paid CartStora subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Subscription changes, cancellation timing, charges, prorations, credits, and any applicable refunds are handled through Shopify's billing system and applicable Shopify policies. CartStora does not independently promise refunds or credits outside that process.

Uninstalling or cancelling CartStora through Shopify ends paid subscription access according to Shopify’s billing process. Theme and app-block removal is the merchant’s responsibility.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to CartStora if required by law, if Shopify access is revoked, if usage violates these Terms, or if the service is discontinued. Shop redaction through Shopify privacy compliance removes CartStora records associated with the shop and performs best-effort media cleanup.

12. Intellectual property

CartStora, including its name, design, and software, is owned by Easyliving or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of CartStora to merchants. Merchant product content and uploaded media remain the merchant’s, subject to the license needed to operate the service.

13. Availability and service changes

We aim to keep CartStora available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features, limits, and plans may change. When CartStora is inactive or views are exhausted, the native Shopify product gallery is used.

14. Disclaimers

CartStora is provided “as is” and “as available.” Easyliving does not warrant that CartStora will increase sales, conversion, or revenue. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Easyliving is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for amounts exceeding fees paid for CartStora through Shopify during the three months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.

16. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Easyliving against claims arising from your store, uploaded media, product content, or misuse of CartStora, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

17. Governing law

The laws of India apply to these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

18. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of CartStora after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
