These answers describe actual CartStora product behavior.
What is CartStora?
CartStora is a product-media shopping experience built by Easyliving. It adds image and video galleries to selected Shopify product pages so shoppers can see products in action before they buy.
How do I install CartStora?
Install CartStora from the Shopify App Store when the listing is available, then add CartStora to the Online Store theme and add the CartStora Gallery app block to the product template. CartStora requires the Shopify Online Store sales channel.
Where does the gallery appear?
The gallery appears on selected Shopify product pages where the CartStora Gallery app block is present and the gallery is enabled. On those products, CartStora replaces the native gallery.
Can I use both images and videos?
Yes. A product gallery can include images and videos. Each product can have up to 10 media items and up to 5 videos.
Can I reuse media across products?
Yes. Media uploaded to the shared Media Library can be reused across products. Reusing a video across products counts that unique video once toward active video capacity.
How does video capacity work?
Active video capacity counts unique videos. Images do not count toward active video capacity. Capacity does not reset monthly. Free includes 5 active videos, Starter 25, Growth 100, and Pro 500.
How are views counted?
CartStora counts gallery views per cycle. On Free, views reset each UTC calendar month. On paid plans, views reset according to the Shopify billing period. Unused views do not roll over.
What happens when the view limit is reached?
When views are exhausted, CartStora uses the native Shopify product gallery as a fallback.
What happens when CartStora is inactive?
When CartStora is inactive, the native Shopify product gallery is used.
Does CartStora handle checkout?
No. Checkout remains Shopify-native. CartStora does not replace Shopify checkout or payment processing.
Can customers Add to Cart from the gallery?
Yes. Shoppers can Add to Cart from the gallery. That action remains part of the Shopify shopping flow.
Can customers use Buy Now?
Yes. Shoppers can use Buy Now from the gallery. That action remains part of the Shopify shopping flow.
What happens to my unused views?
Unused views do not roll over. Plan changes alone do not reset usage.
Does Free have a watermark?
No. Free has no CartStora watermark.
How do paid plans work?
Paid plans are Shopify subscriptions billed through Shopify. There is no new paid-plan trial. Billing for paid plans is processed through Shopify. CartStora does not independently charge merchants outside the Shopify billing flow.
