This Privacy Policy describes how Easyliving (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with CartStora. It is provided as information about our product practices and is not a certification of legal compliance.

1. Information we collect

CartStora stores merchant and shop-related information needed to operate the service. This includes shop domain, plan, usage, selected products, media metadata, gallery settings, and analytics events.

Shopify session storage can contain merchant or staff information supplied by Shopify, including email, first name, last name, and access/session information. CartStora uses Shopify OAuth and session mechanisms for merchant access.

2. How we use information

Merchant data is used to operate and support CartStora. That includes providing galleries on selected product pages, applying plan and usage limits, showing analytics, storing uploaded media metadata, and responding to support requests.

3. Shopify data

CartStora is a Shopify app. Merchant authentication and paid billing are handled through Shopify. Shopify remains the checkout and payment platform for the store’s customer transactions. CartStora does not independently charge merchants outside Shopify billing.

4. Customer data

CartStora does not store Shopify customer PII such as:

• customer email
• customer phone number
• customer ID
• customer order records

Shoppers may interact with a CartStora gallery on a merchant’s storefront. CartStora records gallery analytics events described below. Those events are associated with the shop and gallery activity, not with stored Shopify customer identity records.

5. Media and content

Merchants upload product images and videos. Media files are stored through Cloudflare R2. CartStora also stores media metadata used to assign, order, and display galleries.

6. Analytics and usage data

CartStora stores analytics events such as view, like, share, add_to_cart, and buy_now, including share channel information. CartStora also stores plan and usage information such as active video capacity and views per cycle.

This website does not describe additional advertising networks, marketing databases, or customer-profiling products.

7. Data storage

CartStora application data is stored in infrastructure used to operate the Shopify app. Media files are stored through Cloudflare R2. This public website is a separate static site and does not connect to that application infrastructure.

8. Data sharing / service providers

CartStora uses third-party infrastructure to operate the app, including Shopify for merchant authentication, app distribution, and paid billing, and Cloudflare R2 for media file storage. We do not sell personal information. CartStora does not sell personal information.

Service providers are used to host, store, and operate CartStora. We do not describe additional processors here beyond the practices identified for the product.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Data retention

We retain merchant, media, usage, and analytics information for as long as needed to operate CartStora, meet billing and support needs, and handle Shopify privacy-compliance requests. Exact retention periods can vary by record type and legal or operational need, so this policy does not state a single fixed retention schedule.

11. Deletion and privacy requests

Merchants can contact support@cartstora.com regarding privacy questions or requests. Shopify also provides privacy-compliance webhook mechanisms described below.

12. Shopify privacy compliance

CartStora has privacy-compliance webhook handling for customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.

Shop redaction removes CartStora records associated with the shop and performs best-effort media cleanup.

Because CartStora does not store Shopify customer email, phone, customer ID, or order records, customer data-request and customer-redact handling is designed around that data practice.

13. International processing

Easyliving is based in India. Information may be processed in the locations used by Shopify, media storage, and other infrastructure that operates CartStora. Those locations can be outside the merchant’s country.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of CartStora after an update means the revised policy applies to that later use.
